Very sorry that Bria chose to decline the position, but I don''t blame her one bit. Probably did not want to have an informal working lunch with CCISD staff amd be accused of not being racially sensitive because the caterer did not serve tamales! What a shame.

They don''t need to wear hoods, of course, neither did the Nazi''s. With them it''s all about THE RACE and nothing about equality. They could care less about qualifications and with their mentality the schools will continue to sink lower then the current dismal quality that we have now. Personally I thank God that my kids will nver be sujected to the mantra of the government schools.

We can talk race all day, and be hit-or-miss on the the facts. That''s the benefit of raising the controversial issue with conspiracy theories...
How about this fact... the City Government, CCISD, and other local entities quite simply take too long. By the time they reach a decision, the qualified people are already hired elsewhere, or choose to stay put where they are.
Our local government entities actually draw a great pool of talent, but after months of trying to hire someone this talent picks up better offers.

I think the same thing is going on with the search for a new fire chief. the word is there is an anglo police chief so there has to be a hispanic fire chief,wait and see how this plays out...

Once again CCISD has opened up a can of controversy and leaves this community without a superintendent. What bothers me the most is the constant closed door sessions and lack of motivation by this community to change what is obvious. The good ole boy mentality is alive folks, the only difference between then and now is that they are educated and hide the hood under the bed.

I agree with you 100%.She saw the handwriting on the wall,packed her bags said ""so Long Suckers"" headed for the airport and never looked back.
God,I admire that woman. One of the few with brains. But then our loss is Washington States gain. :)

I figured they would up the pressure till then. This ISD is so corrupt that they will not hire an outsider from another state either. Shonny Bria would have cleaned house and exposed them. They cook the books. There are more hispanic dropouts than they report and LULAC wants to keep it that way.
